Box furnaces are industrial ovens that heat materials to different temperatures in a chamber shaped like a box. Bionics Consortium Rapid Temp Box Furnaces are intended for small-scale laboratories as well as for use in production processes of industry. The latter offers graded insulation systems, low thermal conductivity, and rapid thermal cycling. These furnaces provide energy-efficient and easily maintained environments for treatments like forged fabrications, welded items, spin products, and plates.
The versatility and reliability of box furnaces have made them popular across various industries, inclusive of;
Annealing, brazing, calsining, ceramics, firing/co-firing, debinding, metal injection moulding, glass, heat treating, and laboratory esearch. Materials testing, thermal cycling, sintering, melting, powdering, reducing, etc. are some common applications where one would find a use for a typical box furnace.
